CCTV and Computer Assessment Center

The Easter Seals Technology Resource Center is pleased to be able to offer a wide range of services for persons who are blind and visually impaired. Our team of professionals have opened up a vast array of services in the Miami Valley.
We currently have 20+ pieces for equipment and software from different vendors available to assist in evaluating consumers' employment and daily living needs. Our equipment and software ranges from units that are small and portable, units that use a TV as a monitor, and units that interface with the computer, along with a wide variety of software for people who are blind.
The Technology Assessment Center is here to help you provide services to your consumers who are blind and visually impaired.

Judy Havens has conducted jobs evaluations, assessed consumers and recommended assistive technology devices, and trained people who are blind and visually impaired for over 17 years, specializing in vocational computer training.

Jann Hail has been an assistant to a trainer for people who are blind and visually impaired in the vocational computer training area, and has been the first line tech support for over 15 years.

Tony Guy has provided assessments and training to people who are blind and visually impaired on how to use a computer and access the Internet, specializing in JAWS.

Penny Polyak, our Speech Pathologist, has over 25 years of experience with the Dayton Public School system assessing consumers and implementing Augmentative Communication and Assistive Technology Devices.
